Our Team

A fourth-generation carpenter, Mick founded Meridian Construction in 1989. He enjoys working with the field carpenters, teaching and mentoring them into qualified craftsmen. He is a member of the National Association of Remodeling Industry and Remodeler’s Advantage Roundtables. When he isn’t at the office, Mick enjoys antiquing and fishing.

Gail’s favorite part about working at Meridian is that she gets to see her sons, Mick and Larry. She said working gives her purpose, and her coworkers make her smile. She has been bookkeeping for about 25 years. When she isn’t working, Gail can be found doing her needlework or gardening.

Austin is an invaluable asset to the Meridian team. His favorite part of the job is solving “unsolvable” problems. He has worked in the construction industry for about 15 years and has been an integral part of Meridian for 10 years. Austin is certified with: National Occupational Competency Testing Institute, ISO 9001, OSHA General Industry Safety, and Certified Interior Designer by the New York Institute of Art and Design. On the rare occasions Austin isn’t at work, he is working on cars or spending time with his puppies.

A valued member of the Meridian Team since 2018, Justin was promoted to Project Manager in January 2023. A NARI Certified Remodeling Project Manager, Justin loves his job—he enjoys seeing a space transform from beginning to end, overcoming challenges, and working with his friends. Having been in carpentry since he was only twelve, Justin brings experience, attention to detail and creative problem solving into everything he does here at Meridian. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, art, wood burning, and spending time with his two children.

Dave’s favorite thing about working at Meridian is he gets to work with good people, and he becomes close friends with his coworkers. Dave has been in this field for almost 50 years, having built many of the homes in the Bucks/Mont area in the 1970-1990’s.  Dave enjoys vintage motorcycles, bowling, fishing, and following drag racing.

The newest member of the Meridian team, Mikayla was introduced to the world of design at a young age. Joining her contractor father at work, she learned early the magic in design. Believing a person’s home is the best reflection of who they are, she enjoys being able to give her clients a space that is comfortable and represents them. Outside of design, you can find her rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, biking or almost anything else outdoors! Mikayla is a graduate of the University of New Haven with a BFA in Interior Design.

Jen is a vital member of the Meridian team who supports all aspects of all projects from qualifying the leads to assisting sales, design and project development through to production and completion of all projects. Jen specializes in data analytics, social media management and the design and content of all printed materials and email newsletters.  Jen has a B.S. in Marketing from Penn State University. Outside of Meridian,  Jen enjoys running, live music, sporting events, advocating for MSABC and spending time with her husband and 2 boys. 

Stephanie is a creative designer that will take a client’s vision for their home and design a functional, friendly and beautiful reality. She prides herself on her attention to detail, obsession with quality of work and guiding clients through the Meridian design process. Stephanie holds a BFA in the fine arts of Interior Design from Sage College of Albany. In her free time, she likes off roading and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
